The Women’s Club of Caldwell is a nonprofit, service/social organization comprised of both women of Caldwell and women from several surrounding municipalities in West Essex New Jersey. We are a non-partisan, non-denominational group that holds, as one of our basic tenets, a belief that we should give back to our community, state, and country to the best of our ability. Interwoven with a spirit of fellowship we work diligently to achieve our goal of service to the larger community. This philosophy has led us to initiate and engage in many programs and projects for the West Essex area, the state of New Jersey, as well as some national and international ventures. We welcome new members and are open to interested women of all ages. We offer our members the opportunity to enjoy daytime, evening, and/or weekend social activities as one’s personal schedule allows. Choices for participation can include social events such as a book club, trips to places of interest, or just a lunch or dinner with Club friends. We also participate in local community activities, often, as a group. Our regularly scheduled monthly meetings usually take place on the third Friday of the month at 7pm from September through June. The meetings include invited speakers, special activities, that are decided yearly by the club, and community service related projects. Our meetings are held at: 253 Bloomfield Ave. Caldwell, NJ. 07006
We are members of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) which is the largest and oldest non-denominational, non-partisan, volunteer service organization for women in the state, and of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) which is an international women’s club with similar values.
