 Seeing Eye Presentation Live at the WC Gazebo

Please Join us….  bring friends, masks, munchies and chairs! 
The Women’s Club of Caldwell is inviting you to a presentation by the  Seeing Eye Inc of Morristown N.J.      Friday April 16, 2021
 
The presentation will be made by Donald MacGowen Volunteer program coordinator who will be accompanied by a friend and owner of a seeing eye dog and her dog.  This pair have made many Seeing Eye visits together.  
 
The presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm EST and will be held (outdoors) at the Gazabo in West Caldwell, NJ.  You will find the Gazebo in the park behind the Civic Center Located at 5 Fairfield Avenue in West Caldwell.  
Please arrive at 5:15 and bring a lawn chair and a mask if attending. You may also bring dinner to eat in the park but we are asking that you NOT eat during the presentation. 
 
This will be our first in person meeting in a year and we are hoping for good weather.

Our monthly Book Club meeting is held from a member’s house. Once there  we socialize, enjoy  food in our homes, and engage in lively discussion. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us for Zoom login information.

A Message from our WCC President

As we all face the current health crisis from the COVID-19 pandemic together, please be assured the Women’s Club of Caldwell is following the guidance of our Caldwell Borough Board of Health officer, and canceling all of our activities until it is safe to gather.  If you need help please leave a message on our webpage: Womensclubofcaldwell.org  or send us an email: womensclubofcaldwellnj@gmail.com.  We will respond!

With each day of this health crisis it is evident that the members of our community are following the recommendations from federal and state health officials.  We ask all of our members to cooperate and follow safe practices, including social distancing at this time. 

This unprecedented health crisis has hit many of us hard.  Our Caldwell business community needs our support, consider shopping at the wonderful merchants and ordering takeout from restaurants in town. There are smart and safe ways for you to continue to support them.  If we all use safe practices while supporting our local business we can help them get through this crisis.  

Finally, Let’s show a little more kindness and WCC spirit and lookout for each other and our neighbors. There are some who are struggling , are alone or need help for any number of reasons.  Now is the time to reach out, so make the call, send the text and spread the love. We are in this together and can support one another without compromising our safety.  Stay Safe. Stay Well.
